Research

The Adri LIFE project will be an excellent environment and productive topic for young researchers' careers as it promoted the application and further development of modern technologies at the forefront of their development in an scientifically, ecologically and societal important context: Marine Ecology.

 

Adri LIFE project will help strengthening human and technical capacities of the RBI divisions CIM and ZIMO and will enhance the collaboration with the University of Pula and the University of Dubrovnik. It will as such help to integrate this modern technological approach to marine ecosystem research along the Adriatic coast and across institutions and hence stabilize the technological advancement in the Croatian scientific community.

 

This project will support the development of Croatian strategic priorities and promotion of Croatian science through research on highly relevant societal and scientific issues: the functioning of the Adriatic Sea, explaining the first in depth investigation into the yearly succession of phytoplankton metabolic capacities with spatial and temporal resolution in situ and ex situ.
